Traffic interception via missing TLS hostname verification

Improper TLS hostname verification in Snowflake Connector for Python 3.17.4 through 3.18.0 and 4.0.0 through 4.7.0 allows traffic interception. The connector's HTTPS certificate handling accepted a trusted-CA certificate without comparing its identity to the requested host, so an intercepted connection could terminate at an attacker-controlled endpoint. Exploitation requires an on-path position; credentials, query data, and staged files can be read or altered, and SQL can execute with the victim role's privileges.
