Stored script execution via unescaped post content
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Stored XSS in Aruba HiSpeed Cache 3.0.14 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through WordPress post content. The plugin preserves attacker-controlled markup in post content and renders it without adequate input sanitization or contextual output escaping. Contributor access is sufficient; the payload executes whenever a user opens the injected page and can act in that viewer's browser context.
