CVE-2026-15812Network attack vector

Unauthenticated packet injection via spoofed link IDs

Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026

Authentication bypass in kronosnet 1.34 and earlier on Red Hat products allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary application-layer packets. The ACL receive path trusts the link ID in an incoming frame instead of validating its source address against the claimed link. Exploitation requires dynamic links that accept traffic from any IP and disabled payload encryption; injected data can corrupt application state or destabilize the service.
