CVE-2026-15803Network attack vector

File disclosure and SSRF via unsafe XML parsing

Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026

XXE in Eclipse RDF4J before 5.3.2 allows remote attackers to read local files or issue server-side requests via crafted XML. The RDF/XML, TriX, SPARQL/XML result, DOM helper, transaction XML, and server-boot parsers permit DOCTYPE declarations and external entity or DTD resolution. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled XML to reach one of these parsers; consequences are limited to data readable by the process, outbound requests, or a parser-driven service interruption.
