Sandboxed code execution via V8 type confusion
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Type confusion in V8 in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.125 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google identifies the flaw as type confusion but has not published the affected V8 code path or incompatible type operation. Exploitation requires a user to load attacker-controlled content, and the reported code execution remains confined to the renderer sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
