Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Origin validation error in HTML-in-Canvas in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.125 allows remote attackers to bypass the same-origin policy. Google has not published the exact policy check or code path that mishandles origin data; the linked Chromium issue remains restricted. A user must open a crafted HTML page, after which the bypass permits unauthorized cross-origin actions without reported data reading or service interruption.
