Protected PDF disclosure via unauthenticated AJAX metadata lookup
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in iberezansky 3D FlipBook 1.16.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain protected PDF URLs. An unauthenticated AJAX metadata lookup accepts a flipbook id and returns the associated title, outline, properties, serialized data, and direct PDF URL without enforcing the post password. Network access to the WordPress site is sufficient, and a separate public AJAX action exposes candidate flipbook identifiers without prior knowledge.
