Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Stored XSS in 100plugins Open User Map 1.4.45 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through shortcode attributes. The shortcode rendering path stores contributor-controlled attributes without sufficient sanitization and later emits them into map output without contextual escaping. Contributor access and a pending-review submission are sufficient; the script executes in an administrator's browser when the pending preview is opened.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
