Browser script execution via unencoded day parameter
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via the day parameter. The exam.php handler returns the day value directly in page output without encoding or filtering, so injected markup is interpreted as script. No login is required, but a victim must load the crafted output; script execution remains in the victim browser context and exposes session data or performs actions as that user.
