Unauthenticated API access via trailing-slash normalization
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Authorization bypass in Eclipse BaSyx Go Components 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to access protected API operations. The ABAC middleware evaluates the original slash-suffixed path and passes unmatched routes onward, after which Chi strips the slash and invokes the protected handler without the intended policy decision or query filters. Only ABAC-enabled network deployments are exposed; unauthenticated requests can read, create, update, delete, or upload data according to the reachable route.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
