Prototype pollution via unvalidated $set paths
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Prototype pollution in kofrasa mingo 7.2.0 through 7.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to modify Object.prototype via update documents. The updater's $set path traversal follows an unvalidated proto segment and assigns through it, writing a property onto Object.prototype. Exposure requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled update documents or paths; polluted properties can alter application logic or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
