CVE-2026-15692Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Management service crash via unchecked sprintf write

Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda BE12 Pro 16.03.66.23 allows remote attackers to crash the management service via a crafted request. The fromSafeUrlFilter function passes the user-controlled page parameter to sprintf, which writes into a fixed 256-byte stack buffer without a length check. An oversized POST request corrupts adjacent memory and crashes the service; the public proof of concept states that authentication is unnecessary, while CNA metrics assign low privileges.
