CVE-2026-15683

Adjacent root code execution chain via unvalidated certificates

Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026

Improper certificate validation in Lorex 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Security Camera allows network-adjacent attackers to achieve chained root code execution. Device management accepts a server certificate without proper validation, enabling an adjacent attacker to impersonate the management server. Exploitation requires no user interaction but must be chained with other vulnerabilities to execute code as root.
