Format-string injection in Lorex 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Security Camera allows attackers to execute arbitrary code as root over an adjacent network. The sonia binary's CDeviceOperator JSON parser passes a user-controlled string as a format specifier without validating it. Firmware 2.800.020000000.3.R.20220331 is affected; no authentication or user interaction is required, but access to the same network segment is necessary.
