Stored script execution via unescaped backend title
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Stored XSS in Themeisle Visualizer 4.0.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through backend-title. Chart-title handling stores the parameter without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script executes under the site origin whenever a user opens a page containing the affected chart.
