Stored XSS via unescaped brand tooltip metadata
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Stored XSS in BeRocket Brands for WooCommerce 3.8.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via brand tooltips. The plugin writes unsanitized br_brand_tooltip term metadata and later emits it into tooltip HTML without output escaping. Shop Manager-level or equivalent custom access is sufficient; injected script runs when affected brand output is viewed, exposing the viewer's browser session to attacker-controlled actions.
