CVE-2026-15629Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file read and overwrite via hardlinks

Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Link following in Picobot 0.1 and 0.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or overwrite files outside the workspace. The default agent loop combines an unconstrained exec tool with filesystem and skill methods that follow in-workspace hardlinks to external inodes. An admitted chat or CLI user must create the hardlink first, and access remains bounded by the Picobot process account's file permissions.
