Workspace file access via trusted hardlink aliases
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Link following in mosaxiv Clawlet 0.2.10 and earlier allows local users to read or modify files outside the workspace. Registry.resolvePath validates lexical paths and symlinks but trusts a regular file without detecting that its inode is hardlinked outside the workspace. Exploitation requires control of an in-workspace hardlink on the same filesystem and access to trigger read_file, write_file, or edit_file.
