Authentication replay via absent nonce claim
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Improper OIDC nonce validation in Logto 1.10.1 through 1.37.1 allows remote attackers to replay identity tokens during SSO. In the OIDC connector response validator, the nonce comparison runs only when data.nonce is present, so an omitted claim skips verification against nonceFromSession. An attacker must reach a configured OIDC SSO flow and obtain or replay an otherwise accepted ID token; success breaks session binding and can grant access as the token subject.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
