Authenticated SSRF through SAML web feature
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
SSRF in IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to send unauthorized requests. IBM identifies samlWeb-2.0 as affected but has not disclosed the request field, handler, or failed validation that permits the outbound request. Valid credentials and an enabled samlWeb-2.0 feature are required; exploitation enables network enumeration and requests from the server's network position.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
