CVE-2026-15604Network attack vector

Stored XSS via series_bg_color field

Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026

Stored XSS in Toocheke Companion 2.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the series_bg_color field. The toocheke_series_bg_color_save() handler stores raw $_POST data in series post meta, and the admin column inserts it into a style attribute without esc_attr(). Contributor-level access is required, and the payload runs when a dashboard user opens the series list table, enabling session or action abuse in that browser context.
