Authenticated privilege escalation via crafted internal header
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Missing authorization in Google SecOps SOAR before 6.3.85 allows remote authenticated users to gain system-level administrative access. DataPlaneAuthenticationHandler accepts a crafted internal authentication header as authoritative without validating its origin or enforcing authorization. A valid authenticated session is required; successful exploitation grants control at the platform's system-administrator privilege level.
