Unauthenticated arbitrary file read via src
Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Path traversal in WP Responsive Images 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through the src parameter. The directly reachable image_handler.php endpoint uses the unvalidated src value as a file path and returns the selected file's contents. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosure is limited to files readable by the web-server process.
