CVE-2026-15554Network attack vector

Client-certificate authentication bypass via forged AJP attributes

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Authentication bypass in Red Hat JBoss EAP allows remote attackers to impersonate certificate-authenticated clients through AJP port 8009. The Undertow AJP listener trusts attacker-supplied ssl_cert and is_ssl attributes without authenticating the AJP peer with a shared secret. Direct TCP reachability to the listener is required, and successful exploitation grants the access assigned to the injected certificate identity.
