CVE-2026-15547Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Root command execution via unescaped CIFS parameters

Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026

OS command injection in Shibby Tomato 1.28.0000 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The mount-cifs path in sub_2D048 parses the cifs1 or cifs2 NVRAM value with vstrsep and passes a resulting command to system without shell escaping or input validation. Authenticated access that permits CIFS configuration changes is required, and triggering the mount operation interprets injected shell metacharacters with router privileges.
