CGI process crash via oversized configuration line

Out-of-bounds write in Shibby Tomato 1.0 through 1.28.0000 allows local users to crash an apcupsd CGI process. The shared main routine reads as many as 511 bytes from /usr/local/apcupsd/multimon.conf into a six-byte stack buffer, then indexes a 4,096-byte buffer using that line length and writes a NUL beyond its end. Exploitation requires write access to the router configuration file; the demonstrated consequence is stack corruption and a CGI process crash, while control-flow hijacking remains unconfirmed.
