Path traversal in godot-mcp 2.0.0 allows local users to modify writable Godot projects through the run_project projectPath argument. validatePath rejects only literal '..' substrings, so injectInteractionServer copies an eval-capable script and rewrites project.godot outside any trusted root. Access to the local MCP client and a writable target project are required; opening the altered project autoloads the injected runtime-control script.
