CVE-2026-15516Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated site takeover via installation-lock bypass

Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026

Authorization bypass in MacCMS Pro 2022.1000.3005 allows remote attackers to reinitialize sites through the installation module. The step5 function in application/install/controller/Index.php performs final database setup and administrator registration without checking the existing install.lock file. An unauthenticated crafted POST request can rerun installation, overwrite configuration, and create an attacker-controlled administrator account.
