SYSTEM privilege escalation via unchecked driver read length

Heap-based buffer overflow in SecureAge CatchPulse 10.9.0 through 10.9.3 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges. The saappctl.sys driver's file-read IOCTL passes attacker-controlled read lengths to FltReadFile or ZwReadFile without checking the IRP system buffer size, overflowing nonpaged pool memory. A low-privileged process can bypass command-line-based authorization by altering its own PEB, then corrupt adjacent kernel objects for arbitrary kernel memory access and token theft; failed attempts commonly crash Windows.
