Unauthenticated Agent command injection via JWT bypass
Published Jul 12, 2026 · Updated Jul 12, 2026
Code injection in SonicCloudOrg sonic-agent 2.7.0 through 2.7.2 allows remote attackers to inject Agent protocol messages. ExchangeController.send marks POST /exchange/send with @WhiteUrl, bypasses JWT validation, and forwards attacker-controlled JSON verbatim to an Agent WebSocket. No credentials are required; injected messages can control connected devices, while host code execution requires the separate unsandboxed Groovy execution flaw.
