Authenticated command execution via unsanitized URL parameter
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Command injection in TOTOLINK A7000R 4.1cu.4154 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its management interface. The CloudACMunualUpdateUserdata handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi passes the url field into a system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Low-privileged HTTP access is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates execution by writing command output to a web-accessible file.
