OS command injection in TP-Link Archer VX1800v V1 allows remote authenticated users on an adjacent network to execute commands as root. The HTTP domain-name configuration handler passes insufficiently sanitized input containing shell metacharacters to a system command. Access to the relevant HTTP interface from the adjacent network is required; successful injection permits complete compromise of the router.
