Uninitialized memory disclosure in Silicon Labs CP210x VCP Drivers 11.5.0 and earlier allows local users to read Windows kernel pool data. The silabser.sys driver returns up to 145 bytes of uninitialized kernel pool contents while processing malformed packets supplied by a malicious CP210x device. Exploitation requires a local unprivileged user and control of the attached device; the documented consequence is bounded to kernel-memory disclosure.
