CVE-2026-15416Public exploit

Unauthenticated command execution via Kustomize options

Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Remote code execution in Argo CD repo-server deployments from Argo Helm Charts before 10.0.0 allows remote attackers to run commands. The unauthenticated GenerateManifest endpoint accepts attacker-supplied KustomizeOptions, whose BuildOptions or BinaryPath values reach command execution in the repo-server pod. Exploitation requires access to the internal gRPC service; Redis access further enables cached manifest tampering, while OpenShift GitOps 1.20 and 1.21 block this path by default.
