Privilege escalation via role parameter manipulation
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Improper authorization in Eleveo Call Recording Software 9.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to assign elevated roles. The /callrec/userAddAction.do handler accepts a user-controlled role value while adding an account without enforcing sufficient authorization for that assignment. A low-privileged account and network access to the endpoint are required; exploitation grants the new account the privileges associated with the chosen role.
