Unauthenticated database disclosure via custom_args SQL injection
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
SQL injection in Connekt Media Ajax Load More before 8.0.1 allows remote attackers to extract database data through custom_args. The alm_get_posts AJAX action parses custom_args into the WP_Query author__not_in argument as a string, which WordPress interpolates directly into an SQL NOT IN clause. No authentication, cookie, or nonce is required; a site with a published post exposes a timing oracle that supports blind extraction of password hashes, secret keys, and personal data.
