Unauthenticated cloud connection overwrite via API key replacement
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Missing authorization in WPDeveloper Templately before 3.7.1 allows remote attackers to overwrite the administrator's cloud connection. The templately_google_login GET handler accepts an attacker-controlled api_key and stores it as the site's connection credential without authentication or authorization. The site must already use global sign-in; one request disconnects the administrator and redirects the cloud template library to attacker-controlled templates.
