Subscriber-level location creation via missing capability check
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Missing authorization in WP ERP 1.17.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create arbitrary company locations via AJAX. The wp_ajax_erp-company-location handler's location_create() method verifies a nonce but performs no capability check, and the nonce appears on every logged-in user's profile page. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to insert unauthorized location records into the ERP database, affecting stored-data integrity without reported disclosure or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
