Cross-tenant asset theft and deletion via unchecked identifiers
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Authorization bypass in Plane 1.3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read, copy, or delete assets across workspaces. WorkspaceFileAssetEndpoint scopes objects by the supplied workspace slug and asset ID without checking requester membership, while DuplicateAssetEndpoint authorizes only the destination workspace. Any user authenticated to one workspace who learns another workspace's slug and asset ID can obtain presigned file URLs, destroy assets, or persist copies in an attacker-controlled workspace.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
