Authenticated PHP execution via path traversal inclusion
Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026
Local file inclusion in LA-Studio Element Kit for Elementor 1.6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute uploaded PHP files. The progress-bar widget passes its progress_type setting into get_type_template; path normalization leaves traversal sequences intact, and the caller appends the required .php extension before the check. Contributor-level access is required, and arbitrary PHP execution additionally requires an attacker-controlled PHP file already present on the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
