Database compromise via unsanitized category name
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
SQL injection in Code Projects Online Music Site 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data through a crafted category name. AdminAddCategory.php inserts the multipart txtcat value directly into a SQL query without sanitization, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based injection. The endpoint belongs to the admin panel, and the published request includes a PHP session cookie; database effects are bounded by the application's database account.
