HTTP request smuggling in IBM WebSphere 8.5 and 9.0 and Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.8 allows remote attackers to read or alter data. IBM has not disclosed which HTTP framing input or parser operation causes front-end and back-end components to disagree on request boundaries. The issue is remotely reachable without authentication only when a listed servlet feature is enabled; IBM reports no service-interruption impact.
