Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG source code
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Stored XSS in MyEMS 6.0 through 6.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in other users' browsers. The SVGCollection.on_post method stores new_values['data']['source_code'] after only presence, type, and nonempty checks, without filtering active SVG content. Administrator access is required to save the payload, which executes when regular or administrative users preview or visit affected views.
