Adjacent-network file disclosure via UploadMusic traversal
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Path traversal in D-Link DCS-700L 1.03.09 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read files via a crafted UploadMusic argument. The uploadmusic function in the /setUploadMusic handler uses the attacker-controlled argument as a pathname without restricting resolution to the intended music directory. Exploitation requires administrative privileges and adjacent-network access; the documented impact is limited file disclosure.
