Unauthenticated file overwrite via unvalidated upload path
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Path traversal in Repute InfoSystems ARMember 4.0.27 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite certain files via X-FILENAME. The upload handling in class.arm_members_activity.php uses the client-controlled header to form a destination path without ensuring that it remains under wp-content/uploads/armember. No credentials or user interaction are required, but the documented consequence is limited to writable file types such as CSS rather than arbitrary code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
