Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Stored XSS in the atkp_product shortcode in SERVIT affiliate-toolkit 3.7.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The shortcode renderer accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and emits them into page output without context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the stored payload runs in a visitor's browser when an injected page is viewed, enabling page-content manipulation and access to browser-visible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
