Privilege escalation via unauthorized stored SQL modification
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Business Intelligence Lite 3.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter stored SQL queries. The query-management handler accepts a Subscriber's query modification without verifying a capability, while Loader.php later executes the stored SQL when an administrator views it. Subscriber-level access and an administrator opening the modified query are required; successful execution grants database-level control that supports privilege escalation.
