CVE-2026-1529Network attack vector

Unauthorized organization registration via unsigned invitation tokens

Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026

Authentication bypass in Red Hat build of Keycloak 26.2 and 26.4 allows remote authenticated users to join unauthorized organizations. The organization-registration flow parses invitation JWT payload claims without verifying the cryptographic signature, so altered org_id and eml values are trusted. Exploitation requires a legitimate invitation token and an organization-enabled realm; successful registration grants membership and its associated access in the selected organization.
