Stored XSS via bypassable Button attribute filter
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Stored XSS in The Plus Addons for Elementor 6.4.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script via Button attributes. The render function in modules/widgets/tp_button.php sends the raw custom_attributes value through the bypassable tp_senitize_js_input filter before emitting it. Contributor-level access is sufficient to persist attacker-controlled script in Button widget output, where it executes with the affected site's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
