CVE-2026-15274Public exploit

Process crash via node-header arithmetic overflow

Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Arithmetic overflow in lo48576 fbxcel 0.9.0 and earlier allows local users to crash a consuming process via a malformed FBX file. Parser::next_event_impl adds an attacker-controlled attribute length to the current offset without checked arithmetic, overflowing u64 and triggering a panic when overflow checks are enabled. Low-privileged local execution of a consuming application that parses the malformed input is required, and only that process's availability is affected.
